Whole class –

Draft
book holiday recount
2.
Choose
the highlight to talk about – one sentence as an answer to the above question

Draw
a picture of self

Photo
of groups of drawings – 4 to a group
5.
Group
at a time on my laptop – draw their blabber mouth and record their sentence
A great free
website for digital story telling with voice
BUT:
1.
You
have to make a blabber in one sitting – once it’s finished you have to edit,
save and share
2.
You
can only have a max of 3 or 4 different scenes – each scene is a different
voice
3.
Have
a play with it before trialling with your class as it’s a little fiddly until
you get the hang of it – younger chn may need help along the way
4.
You
have to use it on a teacher’s laptop unless you have a class computer that has
a microphone – inbuilt or use an external one
Next steps:
I would use
blabbermouth again – it’s fun, very motivating and the chn love the results
Use photos of
animals to record an event – instead of Go!Animate or fotobabble
Use it to
retell a simple story, record a conversation
